Chief Greenbud is an artist, who actually has something to say.  Pick up one of his albums and you’ll find that his beautifully written cannabis-country tunes make valid point after valid point.  He hails from Nashville, the country music capitol of the known universe, but he has managed to find his way to the stage at some of the smokingest gigs between our nation’s coasts.

Take a gander at the Chief’s mantle to see the proof in the pudding.  He is a three time Global Marijuana Music Award winner and four time American Marijuana Music Award winner.  How many people can say that?  Chief is a good friend of mine and a good friend of the cause we fight so relentlessly.  We activists make our points with our megaphones and our blogs, Chief Greenbud brings his story to the table using his guitar and his sharp as a trap lyrics.

Chief is famous for his hilarious parodies and thought out original tunes that have a great way of relating to real life.  After all, it’s the hit that makes you cough that gets you off.  If you know what I mean.  It was an honor to present the 2008 Best Male Artist award to Chief, at the Global Marijuana Music Awards Show, and it is with great pleasure that I inform you that he will be our headlining performer for this year’s Texas Cannabis Crusade.
